My first victim….

I’m hoping to get started on that one too a bit this month.I should be all done sometime around July of 2017.

Stay tuned for that exciting update!.Until then, I’m happy with my little shoe rack.I hunted for awhile to find the perfect baskets for my new bathroom fix-up and I finally found them at our local Superstore (that’s actually the name of a grocery store chain here, for those of you wondering).They’re actually magazine holders but the tall, narrow shape of them makes them perfect for holding hand towels and hiding lots of junk too.

The only problem was that they were a little plain looking all by themselves, so I decided to snaz them up a little bit.. To the recycle bin!You can make almost anything out of an old cereal box, I swear..

It doesn’t even have to be a fancy cereal box.

It can be a generic one from Walmart too!.The time commitment overall was probably about 2 hours spread out over a few days.. Well worth it I’d say to start a new tradition that just may last for years!.

Go ahead and start your own new tradition this year too!I just can’t stop fiddling with Kennedy’s room.I know I said it makes me crazy because of the weird yellow carpet making everything look wrong even when it should like right, but I guess I just love to torture myself..

I guess on the plus side of the matter is that when we actually get all the carpet ripped out of there and the flooring replaced, it will all be pretty much done.Or it will change everything and I’ll have to start over.. Oops, there go the heart palpitations again!.
